We use a customized two-step process in the early spring to set Midwestern lawns up for year-round success. A high-quality fertilizer is expertly applied in shaded areas, along with a fertilizer plus pre-emergent in sunny areas to promote root health, growth and crabgrass prevention.
This first application is part of a customized, 7-step complete lawn care program designed to build and support long-term growth and sustainability – health that starts at the roots. The 7 treatments in this program are applied during optimal conditions and include:
Early Spring (March-April): early spring fertilizer with pre-emergent (1)
Spring (April-May): late-spring fertilizer + broadleaf weed control (2-3)
Summer (June-July): summer fertilizer + grub control (4-5)
Fall (September-November): fall fertilizer (6)
Winter (November-January): winter fertilizer (7)
FIRST EARLY SPRING APPLICATION: March 8 through mid-April
PET SAFE: Yes
WATER REQUIRED: No
AFFECTED BY FLUCTUATING TEMPERATURES: No
WHAT CAN I DO TO INSURE A SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT? Please make sure that the lawn is free of all tree debris (leaves, twigs, cones, seed pods, etc.,), pet waste, hoses, toys, and any other barriers that could prevent the granular application from reaching the soil.
Additional Services Upon Request: nutsedge control, fungicide control, top surface pest control, tree/shrub pest control, tree fertilization, aeration, verticutting, overseeding and sod installation. Complimentary analysis and estimates available upon request.
ONE DOES NOT GROW A LANDSCAPE OVERNIGHT; BUT SEASON BY SEASON, BLADE BY BLADE.
