A Classic Look in Parkville Missouri

We started this project in January of this year, with a complete tear-out of the front landscaping. We poured a new walkway with a classic brick ribbon, to match the brick accents of the home.
Most importantly, we installed drainage systems before we installed any of the new landscaping to prevent water erosion. We designed a hardscape with natural stone gray edgers, moss boulders, Colorado Cobble Stones & natural flagstone steppers & Indian Limestone veneer walls. The berms on both sides of the yard are assorted evergreen trees, shrubs, perennial flowers, ornamental grasses & new double ground dark mulch.
To accent all of the new work, they installed an FX LED Luxor Lighting System with path lights & under cap lights.

As we were working on this project, the customers were so happy with the project, they decided to upgrade the backyard as well. We are getting ready to start the backyard project, and will post updates to Facebook as the project progresses.
Does your lawn seem to be the worst-looking one on the block?

Have you done everything you can to get your yard looking green? Watered? Seeded? Your soil could be the problem. You might find that you need aeration and over-seeding to revive it.

Through aeration, a machine removes small soil plugs from your lawn, depositing them back into the turf grass canopy. This process improves water infiltration, oxygen disunion, and root growth.

Over-seeding is a great partner to aeration because you need seed-to-soil contact to germinate lawn seeds, and you’ve just created the perfect seedbed through aeration. This maximizes your chances of over-seeding success so you can thicken up that lawn to prevent weeds and give it that lush, green appearance you envy.

Once completing aeration and over-seeding, make sure you do everything to ensure success. Aeration and over-seeding are some of the most beneficial services you can give your lawn.
SHOULD I PICK UP SOIL PLUGS AFTER AERATING?

When you first get core aeration services, you might see those tiny soil cores scattered about your lawn. These cores are part of the benefits of aerating a lawn. These soil plugs break up and disappear pretty quickly into the grass after a short period of time. This adds organic matter back into your soil, enriching it and helping to increase germination after seeding.
CAN YOU WALK ON YOUR LAWN AFTER AERATION?

To achieve the maximum benefits of aeration and over-seeding, staying on top of your lawn as much as possible after the process is a good idea. You want your lawn to be able to repair itself before you use it for recreation again.

What does this mean in terms of timing? Keep foot traffic to a minimum for at least one week. If you’ve also over-seeded, you should keep track of your lawn for at least one month so the seeds get a chance to grow.
